    2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale Review

2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale has formally introduced the Tonale, a compact SUV that will also come with the option of a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) model.

It will be placed below its Stelvio SUV and compete with the basic Audi Q3 and BMW X1 when introduced to its debut in the U.S. in about a year.

Although the automaker claims that the hybrid represents the start of a company transformation into an alternative-fuel car company, a conventional gasoline model will likely be the main driver of Tonale sales.

Whatever the powertrain, regardless of the engine, every Tonale comes with a non-fungible currency called NFT. Alfa claims are a unique method for a vehicle’s service record to be logged onto a blockchain.

To clarify, most vehicle service histories are stored in the traditional database linked to the vehicle’s VIN.

Alfa states that the NFT can increase the value of the vehicle’s residual value by making its service history more transparent. However, it’s unclear what it will do to improve the conventional VIN-based method.

What’s New for 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale?

The Tonale was unveiled in conceptual design in the year show in 2019. Geneva car show. Today, Alfa has released official pictures and other information to give us a greater picture of what the tiny Italian vehicle can offer.

Alfa says that the Tonale will be available in U.S. showrooms starting in the first quarter of 2023.

    • Tonale is a brand new model for the model year.
    • Two different powertrains are available and include a plug-in hybrid.
    • Stellantis’ Uconnect 5 is standard. All Tonale purchasers receive an intangible token and their vehicle purchase.
    • The order for the SUV will be available during the 4th quarter of 2022, and deliveries will start in the first quarter of 2023.
    • Alfa hasn’t released any price information.

While Alfa has announced it will be available in 2023, the Tonale will be offered three different trims; the company hasn’t stated how much each model will set or the specific options offered.

We believe that it will cost between $36,000 to $40,000, in line with the initial prices of luxury subcompact crossovers.

Design and features of 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale

Based on the Italian brand, the Tonale was created to reflect its “La bellesa necessaria(The necessary Beauty) design philosophy and has a slim appearance designed to “look like it drives.”

The side view is an uncomplicated single GT line that is a straight line that runs between the front and the rear lights. The contrast is created by shadows cast on the curvaceous doors and panels.

The ardent purists will appreciate the classic details like the Trefoil grille and three-plus-3 DRL signature (a reference towards the SZ coupe) and the most recent rendition of the “telestial” wheel as it appears in the Tonale concept.

Inside, you can expect a driver-focused environment, with sports seats and 22.5-inches of screen area that includes the 12.3-inch display for the driver, with a striking, clearly-lit gauge cluster, like GT Junior and Giulia Super. GT Junior and Giulia Super.

Other highlights include a dual-zone air conditioner with heated and ventilated seating, ambient light, a 14-speaker audio system by Harman Kardon, a wireless charging pad, and a tailgate powered by a motor.

2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale is yet to provide specifications for interiors like the boot space or legroom in the rear.

How’s the interior of 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale?

The interior of the Tonale is an amalgamation of modern and old. The steering wheel and the huge shift paddles used in other Alfas remain, as are the seats, which look familiar; however, they have a different style.

Top-trim Tonales will be covered with a variety of faux and vegan leather. Suede. However, seats in all Tales have a unique multicolor pattern in the middle portion of the cushion.

The air vents on the outside feature an iconic, circular design, as do the interior ones have been trimmed to accommodate the climate control and a new infotainment screen.

All the climate controls are situated beneath the infotainment screen. They are all physical, which is a breath of fresh air considering that most automakers switch to touch-sensitive or on-screen controls to regulate the cabin’s temperature.

How’s the tech of 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale?

The infotainment display houses Uconnect 5, a software program that will be familiar to anybody familiar with a current Jeep, Ram or Dodge. It has a custom home screen to make navigating your favorite applications easier.

Additionally, the system is equipped with a wireless connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Tonale comes with an Alexa integration that lets you manage the car using your smartphone, and it can recognize natural language to respond to voice commands.

The gauge cluster hasn’t been copied from other 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale and upgraded to an adjustable 12.3-inch display.

The screen’s graphics can be analog-looking, display an entire map, or provide the driver suggestions about operating the PHEV’s powertrain the most efficiently. T

he driver’s display can also provide information about the latest driver-assist systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-centering, and lane centering. Both are accessible on the Tonale.

2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale price and release date

Its 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale Tonale will cost about PS35,000 when launched on April 20, 2022. For a petrol-powered basic model, you’ll be able to pay around PS45,000 for the plug-in hybrid version.

How does it compare to other competitors? The Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Range Rover Evoque are priced from PS31,265, PS33,030, and PS32,590. So, you are likely to find that the Alfa Romeo comes very equipped to compensate for the price difference.

The 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale  Performance and Features

Even though it’s not as powerful as the top-of-the-line Turbo GT, which boasts almost twice the base model’s horsepower, the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid’s hybrid plug-in powertrain comes with a 14.3 kWh lithium-ion battery that generates 295 pounds of torque.

It’s paired with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower and 331 pounds of torque. When combined with this, the E-Hybrid comes with a base output of 455 horsepower and 516 pounds of torque.

The sports SUV can extend upwards to 17 miles in all-electric range when operating exclusively on its electric mode. However, with the hybrid option in use, the SUV can cover a driving distance of approximately 430 miles.

Porsche has ensured that the Cayenne E-Hybrid deserved its place on the scale of acceleration power. The PHEV small SUV can go from 60-100 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and reach the maximum speed of 157 mph.

According to Autogos, the Cayenne has four hybrid drive options that allow you to select the electrons that you want to use based on the battery’s power that is Hybrid Auto, E-Power (prioritizes the battery’s power), E-charge, E-Hold (keeping constant at a particular amount of charge).

For $83,300, You’ll get the 12.3-inch infotainment system and PCM 6.0 OS wireless charger with two USB-C ports and more.

    2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale Safety

The Tonale is still too new to have crash tests, but Alfa has described its standard security features:

    • Cruise control with adaptive cruise
    • Automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection
    • Blind-spot warning and rear alert for cross-traffic
    • Driver attention monitoring
    • Forward-collision alert
    • Intelligent speed assistance
    • Lane-departure warning
    • Assistance for keeping track of the lane
    • Rear-seat system for reminders
    • Recognition of traffic signs

An autonomous level 2 system for driving is now available. This signifies that the Tonale can be capable of driving itself and keeping its speed even in low conditions.

The driver needs to be in the driver’s seat and ready to control the vehicle at any moment. Similar to how Cadillac Super Cruise and Tesla Autopilot work.

  • 2023 Lexus RX: Review Specs, Release Date, and Price

2023 Lexus RX: Review Specs, Release Date, and Price

2023 Lexus RX: Review Specs, Release Date, and PriceIts 2023 Lexus RX has been a long-running, well-loved and popular premium crossover. It is currently in its fourth generation.

It has become significantly more avant-garde in its design, but we’ve been able to get used to the styling cues, such as that of “spindle grille” (an aesthetic used throughout the Lexus range of vehicles).

Although it’s not the most modern, stylish and most efficient midsize-sized crossover available on the market, it does have an appealing appeal because of its V6 standard and the option of hybrid engines with three or two-row models, stylish interior with a smooth ride, as well as reliable Toyota foundations.

It’s not the most impressive in any way when compared to other crossovers. However, it has a perfect balance, making it the ideal crossover for many buyers.

2023 Lexus RX: Review Specs, Release Date, and Price Video

hat’s new in 2023 Lexus RX?

Lexus is getting ready for the debut of its first electric vehicle from the ground up, known as its 2023 Lexus RX. Lexus has also released pictures of the vehicle ahead of the launch date in spring. It will then become an exciting rival to similar models like the Tesla Model Y and the Skoda Enya.

2023 Lexus RX Price and Release Date

The 2023 Lexus RX Dimensions is anticipated to be released by 2022’s end. There has been no verification within the maker’s office regarding any specific year or date. The 2023 Lexus RX model for 2023 starts at $48,000 and provides a place limitation of just $1,025.

It may be offered in two bundles: premium and luxury. The Premium bundle costs $1,580 and adds a handful of options.

The most notable of the range package of $6,000 comes with all the essential luxury features every person would want. Some small discounts are not obligatory.

    2023 Lexus RX design

It is possible that the Lexus RX may not continue in three-row or two-row models since reports suggest that a brand new model is likely to be able to replace the current model ( Lexus TX). The next in line model will likely use the GA-K platform, which debuted with Lexus ES. Lexus ES.

On the 14th of December 2021, Toyota announced a teaser for the new Lexus RX that almost revealed the exterior design months in advance of the official debut. The mid-sized SUV has subtle changes to its design, particularly in the front.

Lexus designers have pushed a hood that extends from the RX forward to create an aggressive shark-like frontal section. The headlamps are curved, and a new DRL is an L-shaped cut through them.

The grille on the spindle could split, and the teaser indicates the existence of a grille within the lower section also.

It’s a complete circle since the spindle design began as separate segments on the CT 200h back in 2011. Arches for the wheel inserted with flat patterns on their sides could make the NX next-gen different from the present version.

    Interior of 2023 Lexus RX

The interior refinements in the next-gen RX could be sweeping, similar to 2022’s Lexus NX. Customers can anticipate an uncluttered central console and a completely digital instrument cluster that can be customized with layouts, and the latest Lexus Interface infotainment system has a 14-inch touchscreen.

Lexus Interface is a new information system designed in partnership with Toyota Motor North America. It has five times more processing capacity than the previous model and a fast experience similar to the experience of a smartphone.

The cloud-based navigator, OTA updates, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a newly designed virtual assistant with two mics and user profiles and a digital key. These are among the key features of the brand new Lexus Interface information system.

    Exterior of 2023 Lexus RX

One of the most misleading aspects of the 2023 Lexus RX is its contemporary appearance. It could make the vehicle appear as if it’s ready to put the pull strip ablaze.

The razor-sharply defined design of this car Directed the headlamps and DRLs, which appear elegant and modern.

The car is situated high on the ground with, 8.1 inches. This is the reason the Lexus RXcan easily navigate difficult terrain. The roofline is an elongated and elegant thing, a feature in the car. It does take up a lot of the headroom—rear lines.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC-Type has a soil clearance of 3.1 inches less than that of the Lexus RX. Thus, getting into or out of the car is easy. Audi Q5 delivers the best performance on the streets since it weighs nearly 400 pounds lighter than the RX.

The BMW X3’s wheelbase speaks for its interior position since it boasts 3 inches greater than the Lexus RX.

Safety feature of 2023 Lexus RX

Lexus currently equips the RX to Lexus Safety System+ 2.0. Lexus Safety System and 2.0 as a standard. The new-gen RX will get Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which debuted with the second generation NX.

One of the major aspects of LSSand 3.0 can be Curve Speed Management. If Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is activated, the vehicle can maintain the specified speed when the curves are in motion.

LSS+ 3.0 incorporates the following safety features that are active:

    • Intelligent High Beam
    • Lane Departure Alert w/Steering Assist
    • Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist
    • Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection/Braking
    • Right/Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection/Braking
    • Pre-Collision Systems with Oncoming Vehicle Detection
    • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Curve Speed Management

  • 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Review

    2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Review

The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E is a handsome and sporty all-electric luxury SUV. While it’s not mechanically related to the standard Ford Mustang, it draws plenty of influence from Ford’s icon’s design and feels.

It’s not the fastest EV around, and others offer more range (though the Mach-E’s real-world range is better than advertised). But we think it offers a great combination of both performance and range, especially when you add in the well-appointed cabin and excellent in-car tech.

By 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E usable battery capacity has gone up slightly across most trims. That, in turn, has slightly boosted the Mach-E’s range. For example, last year’s California Route 1 model with rear-wheel drive had an EPA-estimated range of 305 miles on a full charge.

For 2022, that’s up to 314 miles. In other notable changes this year, all-wheel drive is newly available on the California edition, and an Ice White Appearance package will suit those who like a triple-white color motif.

    • Slightly more range on most models
    • California Route 1 trim now available in AWD
    • Ice White Appearance package is newly available
    • First Edition package is no longer available
    • Part of the first Mustang Mach-E generation for 2021

How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E starts at $43,995 for a Select model with rear-wheel drive and the Standard Range battery. It comes standard with the 10.2- and 15.5-inch screens, navigation, LED headlights with automatic high beams, wireless smartphone charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

A second motor to add an all-wheel-drive costs $2,700. Buyers have to move up to the $49,200 Premium model to get the Extended Range battery, another $5,000.  At the top of the lineup, the Mustang Mach-E GT costs $61,095, and the GT Performance Edition adds another $5,000. Every Mach-E is eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit.

    2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Trims & Features

There are five trims available for the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The base model is called the Select. While the Select starts with 18-inch wheels, larger 19-inch wheels come with the higher-end models.

A keyless ignition system is standard with this Mustang, and it also has a smartphone keyless entry mechanism. The driver’s seat is power-adjustable, and the seats are made out of comfortable simulated leather. A digital instrument panel is standard, and you’ll also get a 15.5-inch touchscreen.

The infotainment system includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay pairing. Navigation is also standard, and you can open and control the car using a smartphone app. The Select also comes with a portable 120V or 240V cable for charging on the road.

Next up, the California Route 1 trim adds a fixed-glass roof, black exterior accents, and black wheels. Automated parking is also included, and the trim has a panoramic camera. With the Premium comes a switch to 19-inch wheels.

The Premium adds a hands-free liftgate, too. Its front windows are designed to reduce excess noise, and the front passenger’s seat is also power-adjustable. Also, more cold weather comforts include a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.

Ambient cabin lighting and a 10-speaker sound system are other highlights. The First Edition has contrast stitching and painted brake calipers. The GT adds 20-inch wheels, a black grille, and sportier front seats. The Performance Edition has custom upholstery and adaptive suspension dampers.

What are the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E interior and in-car technology like?

There’s nothing remotely Mustangy about the interior apart from the horse on the wheel, which is just fine. Material quality is far better than expected, compared to either the regular Mustang or Ford’s recent disappointing efforts in the Escape and Explorer.

Plastics are of higher quality, and the dash and doors are mostly covered in a padded, leather-like surface that’s similar to what you’d find in a Lincoln. The ActiveX fake leather sure looks and feels like the real stuff, and the upper trims step things up further with a classy gray cloth trim across the dash.

That jumbo 15.5-inch vertically oriented touchscreen is one of the best examples of this growing trend. Rather than stuffing as much as possible on the screen, it makes good use of the extra real estate by making buttons and displays more prominent and more easily read at a glance.

Having a separate instrument cluster is also appreciated, which is absolutely a reference to Tesla. We go into Mach-E’s touchscreen more thoroughly in this infotainment review.

What are the2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E battery capacity, range, and performance specs?

With its two available battery packs and the option of front motors that increase traction and output, the Mach-E’s specs can be a little confusing. Nevertheless, let’s try and break things down.

The Mach-E gains a more usable range for 2022. The Standard Range battery pack now has a usable capacity of 71 kilowatt-hours. With it, the Mach-E produces 266 horsepower regardless of drivetrain.

It produces 317 pound-feet of torque and hits 60 mph in 5.8 seconds with rear-wheel drive, and with the second motor added for all-wheel drive, it produces 428 lb-ft and hits 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.

Official range estimates were not available at the time of this writing. Still, given the additional usable battery capacity, we expect it to gain 5-10 miles over last year’s estimates of 230 miles (RWD) and 211 miles (AWD).

The available “Extended Range” battery pack, which comes standard on the GT, now holds 91 kWh for 2022. The rear-wheel-drive results in 290 hp, 317 lb-ft of torque, and a slower 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds (all those extra batteries add weight).

With all-wheel drive, output increases to 346 hp and 428 lb-ft, and the 0-60 time falls to 4.8 seconds. Again, we expect the extra battery capacity to add 5-10 miles to the 2021 figures of 300 miles (RWD) and 270 miles (AWD). Note, however, that we’ve found that the Mach-E with this battery is capable of easily exceeding its estimates.

Finally, there’s the Mustang Mach-E GT. It has the Extended Range battery, but more powerful motors (especially the one upfront) results in an increased output of 480 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. It’ll hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

The GT Performance also bumps torque up a bit to 634 lb-ft and, with the further help of stickier summer tires, slashes the 0-60 time to 3.5 seconds. The range should be 5-10 better than last year’s estimates of 270 miles (GT) and 260 miles (GT Performance).

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features of 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

The2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E is available with a wide array of driver-assistance technology. • Available forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking

    • Available lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage of 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford’s current limited and powertrain warranty are competitive, albeit unspectacular. We also expect the company to cover Mach-E’s electrical components for eight years or 100,000 miles, but complimentary maintenance isn’t included.

    • The limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles
    • Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
    • Electrical components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles
    • No complimentary scheduled maintenance

2022 Hyundai Tucson Review, Pricing, and Specs

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson has been updating its SUV lineup in recent times. Most of the models are new models, such as the smaller Venue and the three-row Palisade or revamped. In 2022, Tucson will be taking its turn.

Hyundai’s compact SUV competes with similar models like its Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. It’s always played it prudently and adhered to traditional fashions; however, not so in 2022. Tucson. Could a budget-friendly SUV be considered avant-garde?

The fourth generation of the model is now in production. The all-new model is special thanks to its unique headlight design with cascading cascades and the squared wheel arches and striking creases on the bodywork.

Interiors also live with a centre area devoid of buttons and a shrouded electronic instrument panel. The most exciting thing in 2022 is the possibility of three different powertrain options.

There’s a traditional gasoline engine and two hybrid choices: a standard hybrid and a plug-in that can provide as much as 28 miles pure electric range. Certain things, such as Hyundai’s generous warranty and excellent general value for money, remain the same.

Overall, we believe Hyundai has achieved a good job with the brand new Tucson. The hybrid stands out as an attractive option for a compact SUV. Check out the Expert Review below to find our detailed analysis of Tucson’s successes and failures.

    Tucson Performance: Passing Grade

    Tucson Engine

In 2022 Hyundai Tucson comes with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that generates an impressive 187 horsepower and 178 lbs of torque. Eight-speed auto transmission and front-wheel drive are standard. An all-wheel drive is an option.

The engine here isn’t the most sweet-sounding one around. A low rumble is heard throughout the otherwise quiet interior, but it can quickly move its Tucson from the station. It also carries the vehicle around town with enough vigour.

The transmission is smoothly and generally swift shifts. The speed of acceleration to highway speeds takes some time; however, once you’re there, the Tucson is a smooth cruiser and provides enough power to pass.

If you’re looking for more speed and acceleration, look into this turbocharged Hyundai Tucson Hybrid.

Gas Mileage in 2022 Hyundai Tucson

The EPA rates the front-wheel-drive Tucson at 26 mpg on the city and 33 miles per gallon on highways. This is pretty good for the small SUV. The choice of all-wheel drive lowers the fuel efficiency to an average 24/29 mpg highway/city.

Ride and Handling in 2022 Hyundai Tucson

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is awe-inspiring in its driving characteristics. The suspension does an excellent job of taking care of bumps and bumps on the road, resulting in an enjoyable and relaxing ride.

The CX-5 is surprisingly solid and stable around turns, and its smooth steering makes it simple to navigate in parking spaces and on urban streets. It will not reward drivers who drive on twisting roads as the more sports Mazda CX-5. However, it doesn’t just fall flat. Overall it’s got a nice combination of comfort and agility for everyday driving.

Ride and Handling in 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Towing Capacity of 2022 Hyundai Tucson

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson can carry as much as 2,000 pounds properly fitted. What safety and tech features will this 2022 Hyundai Tucson include?

The interior lives up to the current standards. Space inside the cabin has increased significantly over the previous model, with the 10.25-inch multimedia display being easy to use and located flush to the centre of the dashboard.

The pad is wireless and can charge smartphones equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto even in the base model; however, it is missing out on satellite navigation features in more expensive models and features smaller screens. Other desirable features include USB ports on the rear and front and a full-size spare wheel.

While ANCAP is still not tested, the high safety tech standard could make Tucson an automatic candidate to earn a top rating. It has adaptive cruise control, the blind spot avoidance feature, lane-keeping aid, and safe exit assist to mention a few.

The Highlander comes with remote-controlled smart parking, a 360-degree camera, and a blind-spot monitor.

    2022 Hyundai Tucson Design

Tucson’s unique exterior design is ahead of the curve, featuring striking grilles that feature stacked, triangle-shaped led daytime run-off lights. The body’s design blends attractive curvatures, sharp contours and lines, with tall wheel arches and distinct taillights that have a unique shape, creating the appearance of a powerful and imposing car.

The N Line option pack (available in the third quarter of 2021) on any variant can further boost the performance and include 19-inch alloys, the body kit for exteriors, N Line badging. The grille is black in gloss and has a variety of interior feature enhancements.

What will this 2022 Hyundai Tucson be such a great car to be driving?

The reality is that what’s beneath the car’s hood has a less thrilling tale to relate. The 2.0-litre gasoline engine that powers the basic FWD Tucson produces the equivalent of 115kW and 192Nm, and is connected to a six-speed automated. It’s less power at 7kW and 13Nm than the previous model, and it’s now up against an even larger and more powerful vehicle.

It’s not a problem for daily commutes; However, its limitations in performance were apparent when it was pressed on the combination of highway and back roads on the day we tested it.

Two new powertrain options available for Elite and Highlander models include AWD and more power with A 1.6-litre turbo petrol that comes with seven-speed DCT and the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine with an auto with eight speeds. We didn’t have the chance to test the engines. We recommend waiting until they arrive at the end of this year before making a purchase decision.

What is 2022’s location? Hyundai Tucson made?

Specific gas models are made at Montgomery, Alabama, but other gas models are manufactured along with hybrids, plug-in hybrids and N-Line versions within Ulsan, South Korea.

A bold choice of interior and exterior are rewarded here, with the striking grille of the Tucson and tapered sides attracting lots of attention on the road. We rate it 7 and a bonus point on its interior and exterior.

    The Final Call

The brand-new 2022 Hyundai Tucson changes the pecking order in the compact SUV category. It is easy to drive, fuel-efficient and priced competitively. The interior is significant, as well for cargo and passengers.

The angular design also gets the attention of many. However, its overall quality, numerous features, and long-lasting warranty make it among the top models in the segment. Don’t simply believe us when we say so. Review the comments left by reviewers that inform our rankings and analyses.

  • 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV review: Specifications and Features

2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV review: Specifications and Features

The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV, an all-rounder, and a great family car are excellent. It exceeds all expectations. It is comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive. However, it’s also affordable to purchase, maintain, and easy to use and live with.

The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV is an excellent choice for those looking for space and SUV design on a tight budget. It offers a range of trim levels, a reasonable entry price, and a variety of smooth petrol and diesel engine options.

2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV review: Specifications and Features

It also appeals to people who want premium equipment and comfort. Its appeal is further enhanced by the option of either front- or four-wheel drive.

2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV facelift exterior

The refreshed Kodiaq may not look very different to what it was before, even to the casual observer. You’ll see subtle changes to the bold front end and the huge road presence.

The new LED DRLs have intricate details, making the headlamps sleeker than ever before. Although they don’t do much during the day, they add some flair to the evening. Next is the slightly revised grille. The new bumpers are also lower down and have subtle revisions.

The silhouette is the same as the older car, with many creases and lines that add dynamic to the design. The design of the alloy wheels is the same as the L&K version but with a dual-tone finish. There have been no changes to the dimensions, so the wheelbase and length are unchanged.

The rear features a sharper design for LED taillamps. They also have dynamic turn indicators, which add to the high-end feeling. The bumpers are also redone, just like the front. That’s all there is to the exterior of the Kodiaq.

2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV facelift interior

The new 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV is a familiar vehicle. It is reminiscent of the older model, so the feeling of space is great. Bright upholstery adds to the cabin’s premium feel. The solid construction around the cabin increases the overall quality.

The new steering wheel is a two-spoke design, similar to the one on the new Octavia. You can also get ‘Lauren and Klement’ badges and leather around it.

The digital instrument cluster is also new and can be customized to display more information. It looks great too. You will also find the updated 8.0-inch touchscreen, responsive and sleek. It also includes in-built navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A wireless charging slot is located in the lower part of the device.

You will feel like you are back in the Kodiaq, with comfortable seats and ample cushioning. The memory function is available on both the front seats. A nice addition to this facelift is the heating and ventilation. The 12-speaker CANTON sound system replaces the 10-speaker setup.

Space is not an issue in the middle row. There is plenty of legroom and headroom in this row. However, if you need more space, you can slide the seats back to make it more spacious.

You can also get neck support in the headrests at your rear. This makes it a great place to relax and unwind. The cabin also includes individual climate control in the middle row and a panoramic sunroof. Sunblinds add a layer of luxury.

The Kodiaq is a three-row SUV, an important part of its success. Adult occupants will find it a little difficult to get into the third row. The middle row does not have a tumbling mechanism. This means that you will need to slide the middle seats forward, creating a small space through which you can squeeze yourself in.

You will soon notice how limited the space is in this area. Your head may be touching the roof, so you’ll end up sitting on your knees. The third row is best for children, it’s obvious. Fold the third row down, and the Kodiaq has enough space in the boot to fit a week of luggage.

How much is cost 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV

The Sportline is a top-of-the-line SUV, so it isn’t cheap. Prices start at PS36,610, and our test car came in at PS38.770 before any optional extras.

This is quite a significant increase in price compared to the regular Kodiaq lineup, which starts at PS26,140.

Verdict of 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV

The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV is a great choice. It adds sporty flair and style to an already attractive SUV. It is spacious and comfortable, with a great interior, and easy to drive.

Although you will pay more for the sporty look, this trim is still significantly cheaper than the full-fat vRS version which costs an additional PS5,000. Although lower trim levels may offer more value, the Sportline is a great choice if you love its looks.

The GLE is a stylish and spacious cabin, powerful yet supple driving dynamics, accessible technological features, and a refined engine lineup. It can also carry seven people and transport a large quantity of freight. It’s worth a look.

Although the 2022 Volvo XC90 is a strong option in the luxury SUV class, it’s not a great choice. Although the XC90 is an excellent choice for its wide range of safety features and fuel-efficient powertrains that are zippy and efficient, its spacious interior and high-quality materials have distracting infotainment and can ride stiffer on larger wheels.
