Alpine has now unveiled the A110 R, a new motorsports-inspired version of the four-cylinder sports car.

Featuring more extreme styling and track-oriented revisions.

While the A110 was already light by modern standards, Alpine shaved an additional 75 pounds off the curb weight to 2385 pounds.

The engine also produces 251 pound-feet of torque, and Alpine claims the A110 R will reach 62 mph in 3.9 seconds, which is a few tenths faster than other A110s.

The A110 R also gets track-ready Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 semi-slick tyres, and new Brembo clampers with an upgraded cooling system improve braking performance.

Carbon-fiber side skirts improve aerodynamic efficiency and give the A110 R a more grounded appearance.
