The RDX's turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces plenty of power, and its responsive handling is enjoyable on curvy roads.
While the Acura has a similar amount of standard technology and convenience amenities to the Volvo XC60 and Genesis GV70, it isn't as upscale inside.
A 272-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine powers every RDX, and it is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive.
Acura has stated that a ZDX Type S is in the works, and that vehicle may very well be the all-wheel drive model with the more potent engine.
The RDX lacks a premium feel despite the impressive build quality and attractive standard amenities (ambient lighting, dual-zone temperature control).
The front-highway driver's estimations will drop to 27 mpg and the SH-AWD vehicle's to 26 mpg if the A-Spec equipment is chosen.
